Northampton turns off 30,000 streetlights - lights out!

From August 2011 nearly half of streetlights in and around Northampton have been turned off as a money saving measure. Many people have voiced concerns about the security implications of this move by Northamptonshire County council, with worries about property and vehicle safety.
